past few days: talking with jean-paul to sort out multi-clock IO ring,
discussing a WaW hazard system, lots more.
today: sorting out the JTAG connections to a Versa ECP5 board.
these updates, the general idea is:
* to go over the status
* to go over what's been done
* for everyone to let everyone else know what is "blocking" progress
* to then discuss what to work on
so, for example, one thing i'm blocked on is: the GPIO pads for the
new IOring system is a different cell library (with a different,
non-compatible API). significant code modifications would be needed,
right the way back through C4M JTAG and the litex IO-generation code
that i wrote, to support it.
an online kan-ban board is supposed to help with that but doesn't
substitute for it. would it be ok with everyone to add a section in
their updates, "blocked on X"? just to raise things that are stopping
us from making progress, so that we can then discuss how to solve
them?
