I just called 101 to reassure the police that I am okay, also to thank the
lady in the switchboard who called back around 5:30pm when I was put into
shock at a case being closed.

it turns out on calling back around 8:450pm that there were *two* - related
- cases under the reference I gave (44240463915), *one* closed the other
*not* closed.

I can only apologize profusely to everyone tonight for the
misunderstanding. the case (Malicious Grievous Bodily Harm, 1957 Homicide
Act)  is still with the Triage team, the person I spoke to at 8:45pm (Lee?)
explained that the Triage team is particularly busy, it is in a queue, and
someone will be allocated to gather the evidence as soon as practical.

I cried in relief on the call, but kept that to a minimum because I didn't
want (Lee?) to become concerned, thanked him for the clarification, asked
him to thank the lady in switchboard earlier for me, and we ended the call.

once again, thank you to the paramedics, so sorry there was such a
misunderstanding.

I am now with my friend, we are enjoying a camp fire and coffee. I will be
ok.  have a meeting tomorrow at 11am (S & J: look forward to see you as
agreed).
