That is cruel, Alain.

Luke is indeed intelligent enough to realize that he is being held
hostage to be forced to go along with a form of corruption to save
someone else's face and make himself take the blame for others' errors,
faulty assumptions.

Luke AFAICT is striving to sustain the truth that the RfPs were correct
and accurate and reasonable, and were declined due to various
miscommunications, delays, suspicions and errors of judgment.

Holding the payments he desperately needs to force him to accept the
false claims that the RfPs were dealt with normally pits his inflexible
loyalty to truth and his sense of justice against the means to satisfy
his desperate need for those payments. That's corruption.

It's cruel to do that to someone with those kinds of rigidity.

We don't give in. We can't. No matter how desperate we are.

Our inflexible integrity is an integral part of our disability.

When someone says they've seen other neurodivergents, or even other
autists who aren't like that, that's just showing their ignorance. It's
like saying "I've met aliens, they can breathe under water". That might
be true of some aliens, but it's certainly not true of all aliens.
We're not all alike. It's like we're from different planet*s*, plural.

Judging us by what's reasonable for you is not reasonable.
