i think i have found the bug (or, a bug) in how dcache.py is used, the
number of cache lines defaults to 32 but soc.vhdl sets 64, and this
has to match with the linux kernel device-tree file.  re-running a new
sim. again. another 8 hours.

save/capture works perfectly, but does not help if the design changes.
