Again, please note, that this email is entirely confidential and must not
be shared with any other party at any time.

Also a reminder, please do not amplify or pass on any of the allegations
Luke has been making as you may be placing yourself in legal jeopardy by
doing so.

Thank you for visiting Luke. A great deal of our time is currently taken up
with talking to Luke’s carers on a daily basis. Luke is ill but we have
other, far *more* seriously, ill family members who we also need to care
for.
The fact that we are also having to field messages with individuals who are
well meaning but have been misled by Luke’s communications is making it
very difficult and is exacerbating and worsening Luke’s condition and
causing difficulties in our other care duties. Please desist.

Mental heath care is distressing. I am sure you will have found it
shocking. Those of us who have had to deal with these things many times in
our lives are well aware of it. We are very sorry that you have seen Luke
so unhappy. We have seen him much worse.

As I said in the previous email, Luke has been sectioned for reasons which
we will not be going into. Not surprisingly, you are not being given the
full picture. And you will not be. I am pleased to know the nurses did not
disclose this information to you. Thank you for sharing that they were
doing their job. The fact that you even asked them to share private and
highly confidential information is very concerning. I suspect the nurses
were extremely embarrassed that you tried to get them to share it. This is
not a campaign - this is a serious medical issue where Luke is being
treated to prevent harm to himself or others. Please ensure that respect is
given to Luke and the family’s right to privacy.

Luke has dietary preferences which have become increasingly extreme since
long before he entered hospital, this is why he has lost so much weight. He
does not have any allergies and no intolerances - despite what he may say
to you. It is very kind of you to take food to him. I am sure he
appreciates it.

In respect to the medication he is on, please remember that is a private
matter for his doctors, for Luke and for his carers. It is not appropriate
for it to be sent around in an email list. Please desist from doing such
things. You are not aware of Luke’s medical history, and information about
it will not be shared with you. Again, please note, you are not in full
possession of the facts.

The very best thing you can do, if you are able to visit Luke regularly, is
to ensure that he eats and drinks enough. I note that he has sent out
something this morning. Please encourage him just to drink the water.

I am sorry to be so direct with you Aaron, but you must please remember
that, no matter how well meaning you are, you will not, at any point, be
given all the facts as they are not yours to be given. We appreciate your
care and interest, but please do try to ensure that you do not exacerbate
Luke’s feelings of persecution further. Just to be clear, his claims of
having been persecuted by various people are demonstrably false and
engaging in discussing them will only lead to further reinforcement in his
mind. Please try to talk about anything else except these topics.
