(ensuring i get pals at uhs not patientexperience at scas, this time)
this message is covered by the autism act 2009, care act 2014
and the disability act 2010.
regarding UHS Neutology Dept doctors i am bcc'ing advocates
and GMC fitness to practice, as well as the Care Quality
Commission and the GMC Fitness to practice medicine team,
as well as publishing the contents of this message online
and contacting the local newspaper.
i am raising a complaint regarding my referral to UHS Neurology
Dept after four very non-autism-interpretable conversations
with the departments administrative staff. important to note
that the complaint is not directly about the admins, they
may just be in a very difficult / impossible situation.
the first conversation with Andy mentioned that his colleague
Rowan had sent out an online notice: I informed Andy I have not
been asked, under the Auttism Act 2009, whether that was ok
with me. i requested future contact by telephone only and this
was kindly noted. i then asked what was going on, and Andy
said that a specialist Doctor (no name given) had been
allocated to review.
i cannot precisely recall why (i will have video logs)
but i called back later: i believe it was to relate some
of the symptoms. ah! i remember, i had an Anaphylaxis
incident (face droop and rasping breathing) lasting 10 minutes,
and wanted Andy to hear it and notify the doctor.
the reasoning for calling them directly is that A&E had
IGNORED MULTIPLE SERIOUS BREATHING DIFFICULTIES OF 60-90 MINUTE
DURATION BACK-TO-BACK under their watch from 6pm 2nd november
through to 3am 3rd november after i was unable to speak on
the morning of the 2nd, but ended up being assaulted by nurses
and doctors, and physically assaulted by security guards
under the "reasonable-sounding guiding words" spoken continuously
by a nurse that at no time asked me a single question as required
by law under the Autism Act 2009. the experience was so
deeply traumatising that i can no longer attend A&E as i am
in fear for my life.
when speaking (with difficulty) with Andy this second time,
i was crying at the time. his reaction was to transfer me
to another department.
i think he was in some kind of shock himself, i do not know
why, but he did not say what the department was: i believe
it was PALS. i left a message and then tried recovering.
i would like an explanation as to what on earth is going on.
i am also hereby putting in a Subject Access Request for all
notes all conversations all recordings with and in the Neurology
Department, as well as the associated NHS records in addition
to records notes and conversations NOT on those records.
i also require the name and GMC Number of the doctor whom
Andy said was reviewing my case.
thank you in advance PALS for your prompt acknowledgement
within 48 hours and indication to action all of the above
requests.
a reminder of those three laws i am covered by.

Peter's, requesting some assistance in navigating this safely, so that the
referral Dr Horlock kindly made gets actioned with an appointment, in a
safe environment (Chaperoned as required on request under the Autism Act
2009... and I am so requesting)

I attempted to explain the symptoms of a TIA (and mentioned I recorded the
incident on video) and asked for it to be added to the record, I already
explained that he tried (on this second call, at 5pm today 27nov24) to
transfer me to PALS, but what I forgot to mention was:
> * that I had been having TIAs since JANUARY 24 (!) and have video
evidence of them - Andy did not acknowledge this as serious (it was as if
he was trying to terminate the conversation rather than note down what I
was saying: he certainly did not explicitly state "I will pass that to the
neurologist")
> * that I said I had already looked up TIA on the NHS website, it says
"call 999", you should be referred IMMEDIATELY to a specialist within 24
hours https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/transient-ischaemic-attack-tia/
> * that I was terrified of A&E due to the systematic assaults, and afraid
it would happen again despite the NHS website stating very clearly CALL 999
> * that his response was, "oh, if you have TIA symptoms you must call your
doctor, not us" (?!?)
> * that on telling him I had already been to my GP twice, once to show a
video (from the walk-in to the surgery), he still insisted that it was my
GP I needed to speak to.
> * that on asking if he could pass on everything I had said, he said "this
conversation is being recorded".
> the whole conversation had an extremely weird vibe, which as an autistic
high-masking adult and recluse of 25+ years I am in no position to
navigate, except to be very puzzled as to what the hell is going on.
> I have not yet mentioned the Autism Act 2009 to the UHS neurology
administrators Rowan or Andy, but should not have to.
