i am fine (physically, etc) however just as with tuesday find
myself unable to speak. being better prepared and knowing
what to look for (rain, wind) i stopped *trying* to speak,
which was potentially / likely what did the damage on tuesday,
and today i moved smoothly to communicating by text-to-speech.
unlike tuesday i have no external distress to contend with,
and have not had the same TIA incident(s). i can however
definitely feel some pressure in the usual left temple
location, which exacerbates when i bend over, but it is
not painful (ok - a 0.25 left temple pain out of 10).
basically the only thing "wrong" since 3pm and the new
storm is: words are so difficult to get out, there's no
point forcing them, and if i do they are just "moaned"
very very slowly like i have no control over my mouth.
*on the other hand* i tried humming along to a tune and
was partially successful. also single-syllable "exclamations"
such as "yeah" or "oooo" are perfectly fine.
bottom line we're talking pretty serious brain damage,
with blindingly obvious risk of more, yet UHS A&E insists it
"cannot be an emergency"?
will keep updating.
