What I think that Michiel what wants to close up the project is a single
document. He will want this so that he can put it in his records. These records
are important as they are proof that they have acted properly if/when they are
audited by the EU/whoever. Mail lists and bug trackers are complicated and can
be hard to interpret, especially to an outsider. Thus the desire for a simple
to understand document.

They want to be able to show that they have not misappropriated or misused EU
funds. If I were in his shoes I would want to do the same thing.

I do think that Michiel's request is reasonable.

I appreciate that having autism can make it harder for you to understand what
and why people say things - thus my simple interpretation above.

Please accept this interpretation. The real issue is how you produce the
requested single document in the time available.
