This is a cry for help. As the mum of an autistic person, I can vouch for
what Luke is trying to say. If someone like him is presented with a
statement, they see it as a threat. If what one wants to say is presented
in the form of a question, it's open-ended and non-threatening.
Please, please meet him halfway on this and he'll be able to do as you ask.
And then the job's done!
