yesterday was spent trying to get the gram firmware to initialise the DDR3 PHY
but was failing inexplicably.

today i identified that the reason it is failing is because the stack
is too small
(there is an extremely limited amount of SRAM available for the FPGA to use),
shuffled the program around so it did not conflict with the stack

also the orangecrab-85k arrived and is confirmed appearing on the USB bus,
but only if you power it up when pressing the on-board button.
