going through the instructions, one by one, to find discrepancies against
microwatt, i find that cror, crand and friends have the bit field numbering
entirely inverted.
this is particularly hilarious given that it has been several months, and
the simulator has the exact same bitnumbering inversion.
ideally this would have been caught when running against qemu.
because POWER.
i also had my laptop power down and corrupt the .git directory, twice.
turns out that the battery had gone flat even with the PSU plugged in and
the light indicating "ok". at EUR 3000 i cannot say i am happy about it.
