After successful verilator sim on Microwatt, moved on to setting up environment
for ls2 soc. I'm following the instructions on the Libre-SOC ls2 wiki page:
https://libre-soc.org/HDL_workflow/ls2/
During setup of ls2, some updates needed to be made to the setup scripts and
repos.
Cesar fixed a bug related to use of a newer feature in setuptools:

The nmigen Python module also depends on pyvcd and toml.
I used toml from the debian sources, while pyvcd came from github (0.4.0 tag,
latest).

Hitting an issue during making of the external Libre-SOC core, but will
re-create chroot to make sure I didn't stray from the devscripts.
