Ok, if we're choosing this path, then you need to reflect the exact way how to
check that we don't have a collision. Then, whenever we update Python version,
we need to check whether the entire code base matches the criteria you
established. Then, obviously, you have to update all code (obviously including
yours) according to the mentioned high standards.

As project maintainer, you absolutely have the will. The way you dictate your
will restricts other's willingness to contribute to the project. I hope that 20
years expertise can address this aspect too.
