for stupid bureaucratic reasons despite blood
tests showing clear signs of sepsis I have been
forced to leave medical supervision in order to
renew a medical visa that expires on 6th Jan 2026.

paid on a credit card by my host, Prof Alex Hankey,
the cost of hospitalisation was in excess of £600
and the diagnosis and investigation by an ENT
surgeon and neurologist also cut short.

I have lost 3kg in 3 days (weight dropped from 75.6
kg to 72.5), blood pressure at day 2 measured 96/75, phosphate levels were
below reference
values (associated with sepsis), Red and White
blood cell count also below reference indicating
infection.

yet I had to leave as obtaining the visa renewal
is "more important".

absolutely insane situation.
