yesterday was exhausted and in pain so did not do much.  investigated nmigen_soc arbiter and decoder which lacks examples and adequate documentation. 

also worked with jacob to explain twin-GF2-mul-add, part of Cooley-Tukey for Number Theory Transform (GF equivalent of Discrete Fourier Transform)

today edited the bitmanip page and added this

it contains two key functions, GFMUL and GFDIVMOD which for the few values tested so far seem to work.
gf_invert on the other hand does not, there is something wrong with it.
