this 1.5 T MRI scan was taken initially to check for spine
anomalies (damaged discs were found). therefore it is not
entirely suited to finding pericarditis however the two anomalies
shown are very clear: a white thickening of the heart sac to
well beyond the normal 2mm thickness, and a white intensity
of approx 5mm in diameter.
it was pure luck to get these anomalies as the slices, being
a spine MRI, are a considerable distance apart - approx 6 cm.
additionally the weighting is not suitable for MRI detection of
pericarditis: special MRI scans are needed with codenames
such as "SSRI"
here the white intensity can be seen much more clearly on this
reference MRI, at the bottom right:

i have had "bubbling" through my heart my entire life, intermittently.
the ECG shows "ST elevation" as well as Stage 3 intermittent
T-wave inversion. however as shown in the image "try this example"

i also have an ECG showing the "symmetric hill" VI T-wave which
is indicative of STEMI - ischemic stroke - rather than pericarditis.
bottom line, with both types of ECGs at different times, plus the
sepsis, oxygen deprivation signs from blood tests, the signs point
towards both STEMI and Stage 3 pericarditis.
