i just received a message from giovanni, he tells me his
message was intended as satire (not a hypothesis i had
remotely considered!).

unfortunately in the current atmosphere where threats of
civil legal action have been made (despite a 100% enforced
and inviolate committment of decades of speaking truth and
building a sound reputation of the same regardless of harmful
consequences to myself) i have to take potential (even
unintentional) possible implicit libel by list members seriously.

it is fortunate that giovanni revealed his message to be satire,
however to minimise my workload whilst other funding emerges,
i will be keeping the list in moderation.
