yesterday night ran 3 simulations, 11pm, 3am, 7am and got through 2 bugs and encountered a 3rd, luckily have a VCD trace

today analysed the VM bug which shows a "std" operation which successfully looks up the required MMU TLB entries but then does not progress further.

when repeating the same instruction under the same conditions as a unit test, it completes.

this evening therefore after resting i will look through the VCD trace of the unit test vs linux instruction 14,000,000 and look for discrepancies.

could really do with a gtkwave "diff" command.
