just spotted in the linux kernel boot "he-inhibited-large-page"
message which should be "cache-inhibited-large-page" which
in turn means that there's something off with data structures
in LD/ST or something.

i'll therefore try compiling microwatt.v into ls2.py and see if
that has the same issue: if it does then it's likely in ls2.py
somewhere.
