Recently on the Open Power Virtual Coffee Hour you made a recommendation that I install a particular EFI Boot loader/manager on my intel imac (x86).  If I’m not mistaken I understood you to say “rEFIt, not rEFInd”.

Having read the wikipedia page and home page for each package, I’m curious why you would recommend “rEFIt” (which ceased active development in 2010) over “rEFInd” (which forked the rEFIt codebase in 2012 and is presently in active development, last stable release in March 2021)?
