...? Because I don't know anything about this let alone what the
'normal way' is... I know, I am very puzzling :)

I thought UART(FT232) was used with open ocd in that file given all
the line: `interface ft232r` and all of the other references to ft232
in that .ocd file. I don't know anything about any of this so I'm just
flailing around blindly, you'll have to work with me and my total and
utter ignorance here.
