OK Luke, that's fair, I totally agree with you. I won't pursue this target in
scope of this task, and will abandon these (quite incomplete) changes now.

Still I think this would be the right choice, and eventually will do it. This
largely relates to binutils-related works as well, we need possible forms
there. I'll raise the relevant task later, OK?
