Lauri, Jacob, see bug #546 i think we can do a Monster FSM based FU centred
around a Shift Register that handles every variety of mv by bringing in 3 of
every lane regfile read ports and, depending on resources and implications for
the DMs, 3 lots of all rhe write ports as well.

it'll be a handful, but also quite something to behold, in a scarily
fascinating kind of way.  in principle though it is not that hard, just some
timings to think through and make sure that regs are dropped off into output
ports at the right time.
