There's another Linix-related Android app -- Mocha X11.
It turns your phone into an X terminal so you can log in
to a remote computer that uses the X11 protocol.
It's a bit fnicky to configure because the documentatio isn't
as clear as I'd like, but it works.
As an X-terminal, it lets your programs run remotely, while displaying locally.
