whilst ls002 questions and revisions are underway, my thoughts as
to the next candidate RFC would be divmod, mulx, shfl/r. sound
reasonable?
(int fp mv needs amalgamation, i am not in any way going to
hit the OPF ISA WG at this early stage with a whopping 20 page
RFC with 32 instructions)
by contrast each of divmod/mulx/shfl/r are really quite
straightforward, no flags (again) except shfl/r Rc=1 variants.
no new regs, no new Forms actually not true, Z23-Form for
shfl/r. or, sort-of true, it can also be a batch of 4 X-Forms.
any other potential easy straightforward *high value* candidates
that can be considered?
l.
