i usually do an rm *.ap *.vst gratuitously before "make clean"

:)  reading "Blonde Bombshell" by Tom Holt to my daughter whilst waiting for a
P&R to finish.  hilarious that the names, due to hierarchical OO HDL design,
are exceeding 256 characters in length.
