nnope.  couldn't stand it.

instead, i cut the brownfield encoding space in half, by shifting the bits 0-4
over by one, making room for N.

this makes Cmaj.m=0b001.1 uniform and consistent when it comes to observing M
and N, at the expense of halving the unallocated space in this weird
sub-sub-space.

it's a reasonable tradeoff.

the downside is that crops can only target CR0-3 now.
