[Libre-soc-dev] ECG abnormality during septic shock indicative of ACS STEMI

on visiting a cardiologist to show them the ECG
and get some additional tests to confirm or triage
a correct diagnosis I had yet another ischemic
stroke, collapsing in the reception area of the
hospital at 16:30, unable to speak. they physically
picked me up off the floor onto a trolley and
rushed me to Cardiology emergency.

the Transient Ischemic Stroke resolved after 25
minutes, within the Cardiology emergency ward.
however unlike other TIAs there were two key
differences: towards the end where normally I
have slurred speech that then simply disappears,
this time my eyes went crossed and would not
uncross. I then felt euphoric and then suddenly
was able to speak.

a neurologist requested a Doppler report on the
cerebral arteries as the 3T MRI was not detailed
enough.

a second very mild TIA occurred at 18:15 when my
ears popped (a barometric pressure change).
my speech went slurred, I had mild shaking, and
that resolved after about 12 minutes.

the Doppler artery analysis was done and showed
on the areas that the doctor could reach (neck,
but not inside my head) are fine. the diameter of
the lower neck arteries are around 4.5 mm where
the hypoplastic one is around 2.5 to 2.9.
unfortunately the "dark" area on the 3T MRI
angiogram is further up, out of reach of the
ultrasound.

the staff were fantastic, this time. they took me to
A&E just to be safe, and due to a lack of symptoms
they said "you're fine" and I was able to leave about
19:00

unfortunately as with other TIAs the rapid onset
meant that capturing blood samples and other
critical information was not done. it has only been
pure luck that in the past 2 weeks there has been
monitoring that was timely.

frustratingly therefore the triage and diagnosis
is delayed. I have to actually be in a hospital with
a plan in place, with the equipment to hand.
I also need to research what tests actually need
to be done.

it is no good having a TIA at home or in the street
as it resolves long before any ambulance arrives.

the costs unfortunately just keep racking up,
draining my 78 year old host's bank account
and traumatising him further.

I now have the same left temple headache, after
feeling inexplicable overwhelming exhaustion
very suddenly at 21:00. I woke at 23:00 in some
pain, sweating again, and with a halo round lights.
the left side of my face feels warm again.

suspected infection flare-up, again.

l.
