I admit that NLNet offered me a donation of EUR 1,300.00 as compensation
for work on the summary pages. I was pleasantly surprised, as I didn't
expect to be payed for this unfunded task. It was offered to me after
the fact, I didn't ask for it. Neither did I submit an RFP for it. I
assumed the money came from discretionary funds they had the rights to
spend, I didn't even conceive it might have come from our grants. I
mean, after your tasks were finally payed, there was nothing left, was
it? As such, I'm afraid I didn't gave it a second thought. But, thinking
better about it, I guess the project lead does need to know about
donations made to their team members, lest veiled interests arise. I'm
sorry about that.

Furthermore, reflecting more on it, you did make critical contributions
to the summary pages. It wasn't right of me to receive the full amount
for this task, you deserve at least half of it. What do you think if we
split it? If so, can you send me your bank details in private?

Regards,

Cesar
