if you ran out of space then it is likely that a critical component was not built.
rm -fr alliance/build and rerun alliance build (with more partition space) should do the trick
lkcl at fizzy:~$ schroot -c coriolis
(coriolis)lkcl at fizzy:~$ cd alliance
(coriolis)lkcl at fizzy:~/alliance$ find . -name libMut*
./build/mbk/src/.libs/libMut.so.4.0.2
./build/mbk/src/.libs/libMut.so.4
./build/mbk/src/.libs/libMut.so
./build/mbk/src/.libs/libMut.a
./build/mbk/src/.libs/libMut.lai
./build/mbk/src/.libs/libMut.la
./build/mbk/src/libMut.la
./install/lib/libMut.so.4.0.2
./install/lib/libMut.so.4
./install/lib/libMut.so
./install/lib/libMut.la
./install/lib/libMut.a
