that's what i've asked Matt about, allow me to explain, Andrey, what
the context is.
Matt, I do empathise that you're endeavouring to do what would normally
be done by quite a large team of people, for a small/medium-scale conference :)
personally, i do enjoy asking "leading questions" which give other speakers
the feeling that there is actually someone engaging with them. this after
experiencing for myself how it feels to be faced with a wall of silence
(quite unnerving).
Andrey it turns out is quite knowledgeable about VLSI, and is in the
position of learning about Libre-SOC at the moment, as a new contributor,
consequently he actively wants to ask questions of all the speakers, and
engage directly with them.
however... i do get that this is really quite a short conference (only 2 hours
each day) and consequently the 6 speakers each day are not going to get
very long.
thus, Andrey, i think for this one, Matt's first ever conference and a new
innovative topic at that, it is going to be back-to-back speakers, hence
the use of youtube comments.
perhaps for the next one we can get some sponsorship organised, find
more people to help, maybe see if NLnet would fund it?
