i have an idea.

if there is USD 5,000 available, that is enough for a bulk custom order.
what occurs to me is to ask the developer of the ulx3s if he can do a
custom run using 256MB SDRAM ICs and the 85K 5G ECP5.

gatecat notes that the BRAMs on the 5G version are much faster.  and 256MB
SDRAM is about as much as can be pushed with a single SDRAM IC anyway.
