Alright. But, I would like to say that this seems like a well researched
subject area for over 20 years, and it seems like we will be doing
ourselves a great disservice by not trying to learn from the multiple
decades or research, trial, and failure into ASIP Design, as well as manual
and automatic methods for identifying possible ASIP accelerated
instructions for domains such as cryptography, audio, video, and baseband
and other DSP processing. Is that unreasonable?
