ok, fixed it afaict, it was the LogKind -> LogType rename getting in there to
mess stuff up.

running tests is taking forever (8min only 1/4 completes the full powmod test),
so I pushed the newly-rebased branch to programmerjake/powmod and will wait for
CI while I do other stuff. I also manually pushed to the mirror so I don't have
to wait 24hr(!).
