Hello All,

This is captain speaking... Just to add some precision to what Luke has said:

* The first stage of Coriolis Python 3 migration is finished with the
  current latest commit. That is it works with Python 3, but using
  the portage of the old C-Macro style wrapper.
    alliance-check-toolkit has also been updated to Python 3 accordingly.
    But not soclayout (yet). Shouldn't be difficult.

* I'm currently working to do the port on the new C++/template wrapper.
  The wrapper itself is complete and I'm about to start the mass
  migration. The two wrappers (C-Macro & C++/template, both on Python3
  can cohabit).

The installation process should already work with Python 3 as it is now
so it may be worth investigating.
