i would recommend an intern handle this (next year) with as little interaction
with Staf as humanly possible.


also, Staf, i recommend that before that happens that you have a conversation
with IMEC, to make it ABSOLUTELY and abundantly clear that FlexLib is flexible
and scaleable, and that you have IN NO WAY violated the *TSMC* 180nm NDA simply
by a THIRD PARTY (that has absolutely no association with you whatsoever)
looking at the *SKYWATER* 130nm Libre/Open PDK.

this is new territory: they are going to be extremely uncomfortable with their
monopoly power position being disrupted, and you do not want to be caught in
the shitstorm that might result if they decide to fly off the handle.

giving IMEC a chance to go through that in advance so that they do not try to
accuse you of anything might be a good idea?
