ok good, that should have worked.
pinmux was set up to run from the coriolis2 directory (relative import by
ioring.py)
so as not to have 2 copies of pinmux i created a symlink.
really it should be done as a python package (with a setup.py) i haven't got
round to it yet.

no i haven't got to that, it is for later when adding the full core (ls180.il)
we are still at the drastically-cut-down handcrafted ls180.vst stage.
once that works then adding the full core and trying that is the next stage.
once that works i will tag it so that it can be snapshotted and repro'd any
time.

the unicode-to-str converter? it isnot mine, it is code i found on
stackexchange. it will need attribution, i will try to find the link again.
